(*Laughs* Generation 3 ponies are a little bit funny, but most of the characters are truly stale.) In any case, she was seen briefly in a few G4 snapshots & is a fan favourite. Me & my editor haven’t seen G3 yet, but I heard Scootaloo’s the mildly interesting one (supposedly funny & cool).

What do you think of mlp g3 g3.5 and g3.5 newborn cuties I love all of the generations of my little pony and think all generations of my little pony are adorable 🥰
I can see why G3.5 gets a poor rep, but most of the people who dislike it tend to conflate it with the infamous Newborn Cuties (which admittedly turned out weird). I don't have any particular disdain towards that part of the gen, although it does have a slower pacing & issues being more glaring than I'd like, even likened to other parts of G3.5. I personally like all of the gens (so too does my editor, btw), especially upon realising how well made G3 as a whole (again, would address G3.5 separately & keep in mind Newborn Cuties is only a small part of that) was.
Since it covers so many bases in its sundry forms even beyond the toys, it's hard to really find a flaw that affects all of them aside from ones brought on by hardware & worldbuilding limitations (like the removal of male creatures besides Spike & the timing system being mostly reduced to cosmetics plus seeming outright cut off from the previous gens until some remakes of toys & stories were made). Sure there were minor issues to contend with such as the navigation of the new zone being awkward in an otherwise beautiful settings, but the feeling of starting completely fresh is addressed in some form.
Despite these being major sources of controversy surrounding MLP G3 outside of its toys (big enough to make a rift between those who've only gone through G1 and/or G4 or the first 2 MLP gens & those who've gone through all of them), the large overhaul in design also contributed. While I can appreciate the story being a major element for the first time (& that turning out ok), the thing that most disappointed me about G3 was that most of the characters were among the most stale and/or uninteresting ones in the entire series (like Starsong's an alright character, but most in her group are horribly boring-meh at best, Star Catcher's neat, but you don't really hear from her as she's gone for 90% of it, Sky Flight & Heart Bright seem basically like clones of each other with slight dialogue differences even later on, Spike's pretty much this dragon who woke up from a yearthousand/millennium long nap, tries to become this princess life guide, becomes this royal advisor, & that's it.), & the only characters I honestly found to be somewhat interesting are Minty & Scootaloo (both are funny & the latter's pretty cool even back then).
While G3 kickstarted many things that shape MLP modern day (as divisive as it surprisingly was despite getting high praises), G3.5 improved upon some of those same aspects & brought back some previously lost ones, although the pacing has gotten slow as against the rather fast pacing of G3. Also notice some pretty glaring balance & pacing (not just in terms of being slow) issues that present themselves even more glaringly in Newborn Cuties, making for a rough end. I look forward to reading the comics & books (even audio stories of them) of G3, G3.5 & even those of Newborn Cuties after finishing those of other ones.
