Hi! So um sending my "poetry" to you makes me really happy and i kinda feel validated so thank you for reading and posting all of my crappy stuff. Ily. ~ A.G.
This makes me so happy! I really enjoy seeing your writing in my inbox. I get all giddy, tbh. It’s not crappy and that’s final. Haha ily too!
P.S. keep sending me poetry!

“I could stare into your eyes
all night long because they
shine like newborn stars
greeting the mystic universe
for the first time,
but mine are the blackholes
that blend into the dark
and suppress any light
that lamentably streams by.”
-EL
“It’s the middle of the night
and I’m topless
and paranoid as my mind
begins to wander more
than your profane hands
on my flesh. You forage
for a light source
to swathe yourself
from the ominous nightfall
since you’re afraid
of the dark, but darling
try to understand,
it’s my solace.”
-EL
“Hang a For Sale sign
on my brain because I don’t
want it; it cannot house
me anymore than cotton
protects flesh from rain.
Post an Out of Order sign
on my brain because I can’t
function anymore; it does
not glimmer like the
strand of Christmas lights
with the one broken bulb.
Nail a Beware sign
on my brain because it
destroys; it’s the hurricane
tsunami headed straight
toward the glass city.”
-EL
“The world told her
she was like a butterfly–
beautiful and free–
but she misconceived
and tried to soar,
so off the cliff
she leaped.”
